Pierre is a trusted advisor with a blend of finance and marketing capabilities born from both business and creative pursuits. With Wall Street and off-Broadway theaters as his stage, he has learned how to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
More recently Pierre worked with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. In collaboration with federal and state government branches, he provided counsel, market insights, and stakeholder introductions to U.S. and Australian organizations seeking cross border trade and investment. He also supported Ministerial meetings with senior executives and government officials, including a U.S. visit for now Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
His outreach programs to improve engagement with key stakeholders have led to increased commercial and investment outcomes. He has worked for a regional public relations agency specializing in public affairs and marketing. He led investor relations engagements for publicly traded companies and also supporting various corporate communication projects.
Prior to Austrade, he worked with publicly traded companies supporting financial and corporate communication programs. His background includes a career with various financial institutions such as UK based, National Westminster Bank, and U.S. investment banks Furman Selz and Bear Stearns. After almost ten years in banking and investment research roles, he transitioned to Investor Relations.
To complement his corporate experience, Pierre has trained and worked professionally in stage and film as a spokesperson, actor and singer. He was a lead actor in the first fully bilingual English-Spanish theater production in the USA, with costumes designed by Nicole Miller in New York. These skills are drawn upon to help position companies and individuals in the best light possible during investor, press or trade events.
Pierre is a graduate of the The University of Texas-Austin. He has also studied at the Instituto Allende in Mexico, New York Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York School for Film and Television and Stages Repertory Theater in Houston. He has held memberships with the National Investor Relations Institute, CFA Institute, Actors Equity Association (AEA), and Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Pierre cherishes time with his family, friends and church community, along with hobbies that include automobiles, tennis, languages and the arts.
